    Quite fantastic:
    - Mysterious Skin
    - Shortbus
    - J'ai Tué Ma Mère
    - Les Amours Imaginaires

    Good:
    - Boys Don't Cry
    - Milk
    - C.R.A.Z.Y.

    I wouldn't bother:
    - Shelter
    - Juste Une Question D'Amour
    - Prayers For Bobby
    - Get Real
    - Transamerica
    - Beautiful Thing

In terms of LGBT themes, I'd also recommend Skins UK, in particular season 3.

    Saw Milk (pretty good)
Watched Prayers for Bobby this evening. Needless to say I'll be absolutely no good for 2 days at least. I cried like a baby. I think everyone should watch it. Really well done.

I watched it last night, too, and I'm still messed up from it. I think it's the saddest movie I've ever seen, especially since it was so relatable for me. Probably in my top 10 favorite movies.

I've always wondered why the Laramie Project is never listed. It is amazing.

I have seen quite a few, Milk was good but for me by far the best was "for the bible tells me so"

it's a documentary, it deals a lot with religion and is very well produced. I recommend everyone see it.

    Hmm... good question.

    Beginners
    Brokeback Mountain
    Milk
    Rent
    Pariah

I saw Beginners and Pariah most recently... and they are both very excellent movies. I definitely think everyone should watch them at some point.

My favorite gay themed movie is Love of Siam. It's a Thai movie that was apparently very popular.

I've seen several on the list, also Dream Boy, and one called Locked Up. Locked Up was actually a porn movie, which I wasn't aware of when I watched it, since it was the mild version that actually had somewhat of a plot. I enjoyed Locked Up because Marcel Shlutt(go figure) was beautiful in it.

Ummm, I saw The Kids Are Alright with my family, and I saw I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry. Besides those I can't think of any more. But there were several cases in Star Trek where trill were in quasi-gay relationships due to having new hosts, and one time Commander Ryker fell in love with a sort of transgender from an genderless race. And Then there's mirror universe Kira...

One movie that I forgot to mention is a German film called Die Konzequenz, from the late 1970's. I thought about the characters a lot afterward.
