I read multiple books at the same time and don't always finish them, but a good book I just started reading is Arrival by Ted Chaing. It's actually a collection of short stories that they combined to make the book and the movie. It's really good so far.

"Ready player one" by Ernest Cline. Quite a good book if you're into such literature.

I heard about that one on a podcast and have yet to check it out. If you enjoyed it, I will have to look for it the next time I am at the library.

I read The Velvet Rage and, for me atleast, it hit very close to home and I think I will be returning to it quite a bit.

Just finished "The Arm" by Jeff Passan. I highly recommend it to anyone interested in baseball. Now I am back to astronomy and reading, "The Book of the Universes."

The last book I read was how to be Parisian wherever you are : love, style and bad habits. Looking for a new one to read.

Last book I finished was a historical fiction novel set in WW2, but the book's title escapes me. The last book I tried to read was a large book about the Holy Roman Empire that I think was supposed to be an academic book, but it was slow, clunky and skipped around the timeline way too much. I'm planning on delving into Nevada by Imogen Binnie whenever I get the time as I found a free pdf file for it.

The last book I actually finished was all about Gothic Cathedrals and their history! I have 2 other books I'm reading... I have a bad habit of opening several books and never finishing them.

Such a fantastic novel; any of the Murakami I've read could benefit from a re-read.

I recently acquired 1Q84, and it's on my to-read list.

I think I have to get me some of Murakami's novels one of these days. One of my friends recommended one or two already. They seem to be quite popular.

^If you do, I'd recommend the aforementioned Wind-Up Bird Chronicle and Norwegian Wood as starting points. If you enjoy one or both of those, then I'd recommend Kafka on the Shore, a bit more of an enigma, but my personal favorite of those I've read so far. Murakami is not easy, but worthwhile, I think.
