I posted this in the transgender section but got no responses so hoping someone can answer here.

Does anyone have experience with KP for transitioning? I can't find much online about my Kaiser plans coverage online. Seems they are really good on west coast and Colorado area though so I'm hopeful. I really hope they cover stuff because I spend $12k a year on self insurance. My GP quickly got me a referral to a counselor who specializes in gender subjects and was very encouraging that I make the appointment so I feel good about that. I had to wait two weeks for a video consult but while I'm anxious as hell and it seems like forever I suppose that's not bad. I hear horror stories about their SRS surgeon though. I have a feeling I will try and get a referral out to the west coast for any surgeries if /when I go that route. (who am I kidding, I'm so doing it).
