Is there anything in particular causing you to feel that way? Talking about it could help if there is - you're definitely not worthless at all, you're a great guy and are one of the nicest people I've met on here.
Just in a little whirlpool on thinking what might, could, or should have been without all the shame of the years past.
Hey @johndeere3020 - Ups and downs are part of the process. Sorry you're feeling low right now. Keep in mind that you won't always feel this way. It's really good that you're reaching out here. That past is what is is, but the future is yet to be shaped. I hope you can do that in-person with people around you too. Love and light- =Sevn
Hey Dean.....Yeah....that sounds familiar, except I tend to do that at night after I'm in bed and before I go to sleep. Sometimes those thoughts mean that's it's going to be a while before I go to sleep! I can seriously get a long ways down the road sometimes with the "what if I had done that instead" or "what if I hadn't done something". It reminds me of not so long ago when I said to a friend "I wish I was 20 years old and knew everything that I know now!" Kinda of a useless statement, but one I think many of us have thought. Dean, it's not an uncommon thought or feeling, but dwelling there really does no good....I'm pretty sure that you know that. I have found that the best way for me to handle that is to start thinking about the good things that have happened. I especially think over all the really good things that have happened to me since I accepted who I really am and got rid of that terrible load of guilt and self-hate because I was gay. I know you've made progress...maybe not as fast as you'd like, but I think most of us feel that way. Anyhow...chin up and have a better week next week! .....David
Hey Dean....Just thought I check in and see how you're doing! I hope that this week has been better than last week! .....David :gag_pride_flag:
