    Saw on this BBC, Reuters confirm that it’s indeed the case. It’s a second pro-LGBTQ ruling in Japan this month, which is surprising, considering how conservative their society is.

    I think it’s a big win for transgender people and LGBTQ community in general, and hope more countries will follow suit and remove unnecessary, harmful and degrading barriers to receiving gender-affirming care and transitioning legally.

    I was very surprised to hear about this. This is good news in these rough times. I hope there will be many victories going forward all over the world in the LGBTQ+ community and here in the USA as well...as well as more human rights wins in general.
