Hey, it's your girl Zoey again, here with an exciting update.

I finally got prescribed estradiol and spironolactone. And took my first dose just a few minutes ago.

I'm just feeling much more at ease, more comfortable now that this is finally happening, I'll keep you all posted.

In a good mood today

Congratulations, I remember that even before the hormones could have any real affect that it felt good. Just knowing that you are moving down the right road helps.

I did a lot of research a while back, and of course my doctor made sure to inform me of all the "less fun" parts. I'm sure I'll be sore, maybe tired, etc.

But it's a small price to pay to live as who I really am.

It's going to be a long process but its assuring to know that I've already started and it's just a matter of time, I'm excited for what the future holds.

    Congratulations!

Hormones are a wonderful thing, just a forewarning:
In possibly 3-4 months you’ll start experiencing bloat, cramps, soreness in your chest. Yes, period symptoms. But they’re worth it.
