My suitemate keeps crying and banging around (she's not my roommate I only share the bathroom with her) but then her crying turns to laughter. Is this normal high-person behavior?

I guess it depends on what she's high on? I've never heard of anybody crying or smashing into things when high on weed/pot. Typically you laugh for like 10 minutes then "zone out".

Sounds like she had a bad day. Check on her later and see what she says?

I only been high once in life and I did none of that. I’ve been around high people and they do is eat and sleep.

But I’m taking about weed and drugs effect everyone differently she may be on a mixture of drugs make sure she’s alright if you are concerned.

Depends on the drug/s because different drugs have different effects on the brain but Andrew99 is right, it sounds more like she's drunk

Alcohol and benzodiazepines (Xanax, Valium) are the drugs where the immediate shift from joy to grief are most common, and the overwhelming majority of people expressing those symptoms probably are in a substance-altered state.

There are mental health conditions where this can happen without recreational drugs, but it's pretty rare.

    My guess is alcohol.

As another poster mentioned, it could be she was drunk. It sounds more like drunkenness then being stoned.
