What do you deal with the worst, intense heat or intense cold?

Me, I am really bad with intense heat. It's insanely hot in Sweden now, with temperatures at 30 degrees C=86 degrees F. I'm reminded of an In Flames song: "Feel I was running an endless mile ~ Last time it burns and I'm dying inside ~ All of this will turn to ash". Lol. I mean, it's midnight now and I'm practically naked, and I'm still just burning up. Argh.

Give me winter and -20 degrees C, please.

Heat. Not everybody is rich enough to afford both AC in the summer and furnace in the winter , but if you live in a cold climate you HAVE to have a furnace. You can always put more layers on, but you can only take off so many layers before being charged for indecent exposure  Plus, I can tolerate cold much more easily - just the way I am.

Haha. ^^ I don't have a furnace though, and we get -20 degrees C in the winter here, and often colder still.

I just meant like some sort of heating system. If you don't have one, please share? Aha

I can't deal with the cold, I basically stop functioning when it gets below 10C and I'm constantly cold when other people are fine so I'd go with that being worse. Intense heat sucks too but I think moreso because in the UK when we get decently warm weather like the past couple of days it's gone up to 30C we have no way of dealing with it. No air con in houses and shops, no fans laying about and the heat here is more humid than in other places. Definitely take this over cold weather any day.

We have heat aggregates, so that keeps us warm, haha. At our old place we used to have an open fireplace. God that was so nice when we could get wood in the winter to burn, it was so cozy. <3

Heat is the devil. Absolutely hate it. I'd much rather be cold. When I'm hot I feel gross and tired. When it's cold I feel alert and mildly irritated.

Welcome to Central California Valley, home of the hottest place on Earth. Enjoy daily highs of 115 degrees Fahrenheit, or if you're lucky, temperatures in the 90s! Forget changing temperatures here because it's the same weather for six months. In the blessed "winter" we might get to the 50s at the lowest.

To be frank, I've lived in below 0 (Fahrenheit) temps in Russia, one of the coldest places on Earth, and later on in the frigid state of Pennsylvania. Cold is much preferred.

I hate hot weather with a passion and will happliy move to a cold and wet location as soon as possible.

Heat is worse. I don't even know how I would survive in a desert country. Seriously I am equipped to survive -30 C (-22 F) degrees like no problem, but +40 C (104 F) is just.... How do you even survive in such heat? Someone please let me know, can you even be outside and move about, or do you just sit inside all day under the AC? How do you even keep the water inside your body?

Haha, 30 degrees is a pretty mild summer day here.

I prefer the intense cold any day. I love staying inside and layering on jumpers and the feeling of being cozy :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

In the summer, I just feel super drained.

Figured I wouldn't talk about the weather. I live in a place where what's considered 'cool' here would be 'very warm' for most people.

But anyway, i picked 'equally bad' because I was thinking of the extremes and like, the injuries you get from stuff that are really hot or really cold are both called 'burns'. So, you know, equally bad.

In the past, I would've said I prefer the cold, but on second thought, I do really hate my fingers and toes being numb... I guess they're equally bad, but it's hard to decide.

Recently though, I haven't minded the heat as much as usual. It's been over thirty degrees every day, and I don't even bother to turn the air conditioning on, even though I'm sweating all over. It takes me a while to notice, though. o.o I guess it's been hot for so long this time that I've gotten used to it?

Cold is better. Being numb or in pain from it sucks, but heat just wears you down and makes you gross and miserable.

Intense heat. If you asked me last year I would've said it was equal, but a few weeks ago I spent 9 hours on a buggy island in 90 degree weather. We were just going to have lunch, but our boat broke down and we had to wait for a friend to come help. By the end I was nothing but sweat and mosquito bites. Getting back into some air conditioning was like getting in heaven

Intense heat. I'm a little bear, so I love cold weather. Honestly, the colder the better.

Cold feels awesome no matter how cold. <3 Heat is okay to some extent, but I'm a little more sensitive to intense heat than intense cold.
