I saw this earlier, and thought it was one of the cutest things I've ever seen! And as an animator, it holds a special place in my heart. I just wish it was full length instead of a short film.
I've seen so many people bashing this and showing hate on Facebook. It's disgusting! We live in the 21st century, you think we would've progressed past all of this ant-gay stuff by now.
I was going to post this too, when i just saw it, because I loved it. I saw so much hate on Facebook related to this one as well, it makes no sense and why, because it shows acceptance and possibly love?
I've watched this three times already. I love that the little heart just bursts out and has a life of its own! And the way it looks so happy at the end - fully of wonder and joy. My heart would look like that too if the person i liked liked me back! Totally wonderful!
I'll be 100% honest This is one of the greatest works of animation I have ever seen, and I'm the guy who watched and loved One Stormy Night, WALL.E and literally everything by Disney It's only 4 minutes, but It's so powerful ! In only 4 minutes, it makes you care about these characters in a way most films achieve in about an hour I absolutely loved how they portray homosexuality as something natural but they also acknowledge that sadly not everyone thinks that way, and the two main characters are just two average boys like any other, they just so happen to like each other Some people complained about the heart, but I personally really liked it, it kinda adds a nice, symbolic touch to the short. Dare I say, I don't think the short would have had the same effect without it Also Sherwin (the name of one of the boys) is an Anglo-Saxon name so that alone wins so many points for me (I adore Anglo-Saxon names ^_^) I just love every single second of this short <3
