I'm Ready

    I've decided that I am ready to officially come out to everyone at school. Me and a few friends of mine are going to tell the school gossips that we know and let what happens happen.
    My Dad is a major homophobe, so I'm currently in the process of making alternate living arrangements, just incase. I'm tired of hiding, and I'm proud of who I am! Besides, I've gotten into the habit of biting my nails from all the secrets........
    All I have left are a few more personal coming outs, and then the whole school can know!

    Good luck!
    Just wondering, can you please give su more info about the "alternate living arrangements"? I'm more than sure that law won't let your dad kick you out of your house.

    That's why I didn't say that I'm "finding a place to live"
    I know that my dad can't kick me out, and even if he tries my mom will talk him out of it.
    I'm just talking to a few friends to see if I can crash with them for maybe a week at the most.

    I wish you all the luck in the world!:thumbsup: I understand your fear. And I think Quitex is right. I don't think your Dad can legally kick you out. You have to be a certian age for that one. But I could be wrong on that. I'll be hoping for you! For it to all turn out right!

    Wise decision.
    If your dad ever tries to kick you out try and get the things cool a little. If he is as homophobic as you've said, give him time. Try and talk with him when he's in a good mood. And dont remind him unnecesarely as well. And school? pffft. It'll all be fine.

    Good luck with school and your dad. I KNOW it'll all turn out well, if not in the beginning.

    My situation at school is kinda similar, except the gossip people found out for themselves. But I'm not really ready to come out to everyone just yet, so I'm just denying it if anyone asks.

    But still, GOOD LUCK!!!!
