There is a movement happening in this country right now, the times are a-changing. It was every month, then every week, and now every day we read a major news story concerning gays being given or about to be given equal rights.

So glad it is picking up steam, and change is coming faster now. I never thought we would see such progress in my lifetime.

It's like a steam roller heading over a hill....... amazing!!!!

I am very happy to see U.S.A moving forward.
You are right Jeff everyday is getting better and better.
It seems to me that it won´t pass more than 10 years before gay marriage becomes legal nationwide.
Congrats to my dear American brothers and sisters.
    Greetings from Europe.

  5. Good for Illy, however, 6-5 in committee? That doesn't exactly bode well for the floor vote.

I heard rumors that this will come up this week. On March 6 or 7. I don't believe there are enough votes for this bill at this time. There are a lot of questionable democrats. I mean, seriously also 6-5 was very close. Eddie Lee Jackson, Sr. a Democrat voted NO in committee. Luis Arroyo spoke and said he didn't want to stop the bill, he supported it in committee, but likely will not support it on the vote.

I can't see anyway forward right now, for this bill. It will be very close.
