If you HAD a choice, what would you choose to be: Straight or Gay???

I like me some boys.

 

Gay. I like liking women, even if it comes with more hardships. After a number of years of acknowledging same sex attraction it's hard to imagine being perfectly straight.

It maybe hard to be gay while in a catholic high school but I wouldn't have it any other way

 

I think that after all those it took me to finally accept myself, I'm finally able to say that I won't change it. Obviously, if I was born again and be given the chance, without remembering my feelings for guys and all that, I would most likely choose to be straight. But as of right now, I'm perfectly happy with my sexuality.

 

I would like to be straight because there's so much hate around gay people, especially around people my age.

But I would not at the same time, as I would not be in love with the guy I have a crush atm, and the feeling I get when I'm around him... I can't even describe how wonderful it is

So I'm stuck in the middle XD

 

I agree that I like being gay. It's a part of who I am. I wouldn't be the same person if I had been born straight.

 

Straight, I am still uncomfortable with myself and admit that I do have some internal homophobia to deal with, I wish it were different, but it's just who I am at this point in my life.

 

Either probably- being an asexual is hard sometimes, relationship-wise, as most people want sex in a relationship and I just can't. It'd be easier if I could, and a lot of the time I wish I was sexual, especially with how much importance society places on sex.

Don't know, don't care; it's irrelevant.
But since I'd have to be transsexual anyways, being straight would be easier.
I'd be pretty much the same, though.

It would have been nice to have an aromantic asexual option, because I wish at times that I'd drop it all. This is part of the reason why I am not participating in the poll, because it tends to alternate between bi/het and aromantic asexual, leaning more to the latter.

If we are to take a look at the poll options though, while he could have left the insults out, I agree with WooEEE here, for the most part. I'm pretty much fine elsewhere but it's pretty frustrating how much this sexuality bs has just caused things to go out of whack; it's taken a big toll on my mood, etc.

I used to be pretty known for the fact that it would be really uncommon to see me not smiling and now I've been in a constant switch between a 'whatever' mood and feeling depressed, rarely ever in a happy mood in regards to this, though I obviously keep this to myself.

It's caused next to nothing but misery and would've been nice without it. Now I'll have to just deal with this bs for the foreseeable future...

You'll rarely catch me using the word or referencing it, but this statement holds too much truth, personally, to not quote:

Still, there are guy qualities I wouldn't give up, either.

I'm starting to see why so many people wish they could be bisexual, now! :badgrin:

 

Lesbian again not changing it for the world , not matter how hard it is I'll do it all over again if I could .

 

As naturally 'nice' the feeling of attraction is, I'd give up my feelings towards guys if it meant getting me out of this sad, lonely, empty state-of-mind it's dragged me into.

 

If I had that choice right now there'd only be two people in the world.
