Straight! life of being a lesbian seems tough suddnly. when i have to deal with things like coming out to parents or dealing with mrrg pressure.. and contantly feeling out of place when straight girls always have smone to crush on or discuss hot guys in office.. gym.. malls... just everywhere. i wish i was straight n could relate to how they feel being always around a gender you are intrsted in n have so much scope.. n a secure life ahead .... ...

I enjoy being gay. So I would choose to be gay if I had a choice.

I would like to be born straight and find out my sexuality later in life so I know how well society would love me

Even though I'm not out fully and being gay has its set backs I'd pick it anyday over straight

Most people's reasons for choosing to remain gay don't seem terribly good...

Honestly, I see no reason why anyone would choose to be gay over being straight. We often tell people "I was born gay. Why would I choose a harder life full of discrimination?" -- yet people here apparently would choose the harder life of being gay. Interesting. I think you can be happy with your life but still appreciate that it is made harder by being gay in our society.

I would not choose to be born in Africa... why would I choose the harder life? Psychological growth from the trauma? That's the only benefit I can see.

So, logically, all things equal, and without a prior knowledge of my attraction to guys, I would obviously choose to be straight. It seems obvious to me.

"Eww girls" is not an acceptable reason to choose to be gay... since if you were straight you would not think that...
