    Hey everyone,

    I previously made a post about proposing to my girlfriend and I have decided to do it. It’s her 26th birthday next month and that’s when i’m planning to do it. We are going to go for lunch with our families first and we will see some friends but then my plan is to take her to our favourite spot in the evening where we had our first proper date; I will bring our favourite food and drinks and at some point in the evening I will propose. I am really nervous but I am 100% certain she will say yes because we have spoken about marriage a lot; we said we want to spend the rest of our lives together and have children one day.

    I found a beautiful ring that is her style. We got each other promise rings a few weeks ago.

    We have only been together since October last year so this may seem fast to a lot of you but I know she is the woman I want to spend the rest of my life with. We have known each other for 11 years this year and have been in love for the majority of those years so I know it’s right. We were the first people we told that we are lesbians.

    ** I forgot to mention she is moving in with me either next week or the week after and we are looking for a flat of our own currently.

    Thank you for your kind reply. :slight_smile: It honestly feels like we have been together romantically for much longer than before we told each other how we felt. We want exactly the same things. As I said above, the love of your life might’ve been there all along but it can just take a while for you to realise.
