I have pretty much accepted myself of being gay for a few weeks, but last night i was dreaming that I made a short film and invited everyone I know to watch it at a party in my house, all of a sudden a gay sex scene appears in the movie, nobody reacted except myself I had a boner and everyone saw it then I woke up frightened and disgusted at myself because my pants were wet. what could this mean if it means anything?
    I don't get it?

-I did watch a short lgbt film before sleeping
-I do have a passion for filmmaking
-I grew up and still live with a religious culture

Dreams are weird, they don't often mean anything, and I wouldn't beat yourself up over it. Focus on how you're feeling when you're awake because that's the real indicator of how you're handling things!

It just sounds to me as though you want to start coming out to people around you but a part of your brain is maybe a little apprehensive which is only natural.

Maybe its less the gay factor and more the boner in public? That would be humiliating regardless of orientation.

Besides that though, dreams are ways in which the subconscious deals with things. Maybe you want to come out and are afraid, or, maybe you are afraid of reacting to things in a non heteronormative manner around people who dont know. All perfectly normal and rational.
