No One is Born Gay (or Straight): Here Are 5 Reasons Why | Social (In)Queery ...except I'm not sure how well I understood it; all I could pick out was how "gayness" is essentially a social construct after reading the science sections (frat parties, Ancient Greece) and the "femme lesbian" deal when it comes to finger length ratio. I wonder what your opinions of this are.
It is my opinion that it doesn't matter, and that we should stop using "It's not a choice" as a defence, because it implies making that choice would be undesirable, and that being queer is an inferior state of being. Futhermore, just because something isn't a choice doesn't automatically mean that it is a moral or morally neutral action.
