I finally came out to my mom, I was so scared but I was texting a friend who said I had to do it so I did it. I told my mom I wanted to talk to her and I was holding up a sign that said 'I'm transgender!' She is trying to get me to tell my dad too, but I get so scared just thinking about it! When summer come, and I'm out of school, I'm planning on transitioning.

I'm glad it went well with your mother by the sounds of it. I think it depends on you, you know your father the best, and you know what he's like. If you feel he will be accepting, then I say go for it, but if you feel it would be a negative outcome then perhaps waiting until you are truly ready to come out to him, and depending on your situation (if you are dependent or independent from them financially, and living space wise). I hope it all turns out well though.
