    True! Though at this point I'm pretty out. IDK how much she knows about me though...
    I don't see her very often (maybe every 3-4 months) but I know I'll see her next week at another art gallery event, because she's on the committee, as is my friend.

    Make sure you interact with her as much as you can in that event. You can even ask her out to extend the night after the event? :slight_smile: Make it a group thing. Let your friend in on the plan. Hehe. :slight_smile: I'm sure it will be good fun! Plus you'll get to know more about her without the pressure of being on a date, just a group hang.

    OMG all of this sounds terrifying.

    Also, where I'm from, people just don't do that kind of thing. It would come off as really weird. Id need to have a legitimate reason to hang out with her. Like joining an org she's in or something. The funny thing is I'm involved in a lot of activities that interact with the ones shes involved in, but we rarely cross paths...

    even though this crush is totally helpless, listen to this

    Theres a MAJOR STORM coming my way right now. And this girl I'm crushing on just wrote on facebook that she needs someone to adopt her during the storm. My apartment has a generator and water tank and its fairly safe. I'm so tempted to write: come on over bb

    OMG so I wrote on my status:
    "who is staying in (name of my building) during the storm?!"

    and she liked it!!! :astonished:

    my building, btw, is like a dorm. it has over 500 apartments, everyone is between 25-40, young professionals, and I know a lot of her friends live there too
