It took me a while, but eventually I realized that I was not straight. It started with some minor crushes on other females and eventually I realized that I liked them as more than a friend and I knew.

If I'm being frank, it was me thinking "I wonder what sex with dudes is like." And then finding that I liked it. As for liking guys, that came along with it.

I didn't know what it was, but I knew I wasn't "normal" by age 4. Really acknowledged the fact to myself that I was into other guys at 13 or so.

I have always had feelings for other girls since I was young, but I did not want to come to terms with that. With in the past few weeks, I have realized that I have feelings for both men and women, and I am starting to accept it.

I've probably always "known" I was bi, but admitting it?(even to myself) Lol totally different matter. I spent most of my life saying things like "he'd be cute if I were gay" or "hmm..wonder what it'd be like....nah". The denial was strong in this one. It took finally getting hit in the face with the fact that I was reacting to a male singer with the same celebrity crush feeling I had had to other women for me to finally say "duh get the message already" lol the rest, as they say, is history.

I realized that I was different when I was around 5 years old but denied being bi/gay until I was 25. The turning point was when I finished my degree and started to question everything. Well.., and during my years of denial I hoped that something would turn me straight.. how stupid I was..

I thought I was gay at the age of 15. But that changed as soon as my sexuality shifted towards women. My sexuality has been fluid for 5 years, and this is a example of being bisexual. At the moment I feel so gay like i dont even feel for women during the past month. But I know for sure it will change again......

This is me. I haven't actually had a relationship with anyone but yeah, I just was curious and the more I thought about sex with women the more I realized, hey, sounds fun. I also feel emotionally closer to women.

I started suspecting I may be a lesbian when I was 16 since I have a lot of crushes on girls. I was pretty sure I was but then I started crushing on guys every so often and some of my fantasies have been about men. So I'm questioning now. I feel different about men and women so bisexual doesn't feel like the right label.

I actually don't remember how I realized it, I just remember when I accepted it. Being perfectly honest, I accepted it after seeing some yaoi. When I read that, seeing how much the two guys cared for eachother, for some reason, allowed for me to accept myself and realize that I'd only be happy with a man.

To be fair, this was more like the a-ha moment happened during sex. Before that was a suspicion. And with the way a good chunk of men tend to be about emotions, it's no shock that people would be closer to women (a good chunk of them, anyway). I say 'a good chunk' because I'm aware that there are exceptions to almost anything.

I've realized it when I saw that beautiful girl in my class and thought about how it would feel to kiss her. I was on shock for a few minutes, then I thought about it and realized that it explained a lot of things. I realized that I don't care about the gender of the person. The only thing that matter to me is personality.

I'm not sure. I think it was a slow and gradual realization.

I couldn't fit in with all the guys (in general) and as they all started talking about girls so much I starting realizing that I don't like them the way they do. I liked gay porn for an embarrassing long time before it clicked that liking gay porn probably means Im gay lmao

I think that I realized when I was 17. I remember kissing boys a few times when I was like 15 on truth or dare and those kind of games, but it wasn't until I was like 17 that I kissed a guy and I knew I also liked boys.

Realized shortly after hitting twenty that, even though I can find guys attractive, sex just didn't sound appealing to me at all, even though it's everywhere in society. The idea of sex just revolts me.

    (I'm asexual, just to clarify.)

I think i started to have serious questions at age 10....prior to that I felt a little different I denied it through my teens but had been hit on a couple of times when I was 16-17....at that time I felt ‘am I sending mixed signals or something?’ And was kind of disgusted to the point where I tried to overcompensate my heterosexual side but deep down, the compliments made me feel attractive and did excite me....then I would ebb and flow or feel more fluid during periods of my 20s where I would subconsciously flirt then back to denial and then my world came crashing down 8 years ago and it’s been a struggle ever since
