If you've slept over at or let someone sleep over at yours after just meeting someone, how do you get any sleep? I think I'd be too worried about them doing something sneaky, snooping in electronic devices, wallet, papers, theft, etc? All sexualities have one night stands so it's not a gay thing. Just curious how people do it.

I've never had someone round mine. I've only stayed round other people's places after we've talked for a few weeks before meeting at least. I never sleep over at people's houses who I don't really know, at least a bit anyway.

I never trusted anyone at first sight. Even when I was casually seeing people, I first got to know them through social media, and then through a few dates in public places before I let them into my "sanctuary". I would never give my address to someone I don't know well enough for that.

Also, regardless if I brought someone home or if I was going to a date, even if a public place, I always let a friend know what I was going to do and at what time. Sometimes I asked them to check up on me by sending me a text after an hour or so of the time I set to see if I was ok.

Trust your gut. Of course things can be a bit "harder" this way, and it may look easier to just risk it. But your safety is worth more than a one night stand.

Can't do it. In the past when I tried, I couldn't sleep. Something in me knew it was too risky

I don't have strangers sleeping in my house. I don't like letting strangers in my personal space anyway. I would either go to a hotel or their place. If I ever hook up, then I first want their picture and full name and at first meet them in a public place, like a cafe and then decide. I feel like there needs to be a click and a trust of some kind between us, even if it is an one night stand. Some people are too trusting. I've also heard way too many horror stories, so my anxiety will act up.

Interesting it seems so common the way guys sound on different forums. Maybe they just fool around and leave, don't sleep over as much as I thought. Still some of you found others who would let you sleep at theirs so they trusted you not to mess with their stuff. Or maybe they wanted to check your wallet/purse lol. I'm so paranoid yikes, I'll have cameras in my place and notices posted so the guys know they better behave. Jk oh well

Best to stick with a "blow-n-go"?? I'd never stay over or let someone stay over unless I knew them better. Otherwise it's a roll of the dice and you get what you get...

It takes a lot of vetting and judgment. A LOT. It's probably better to leave after the action is over in most situations. It's better to be safe than sorry.

I worry about those exact same things mentioned in the OP.

I like this term "rando." I hadn't heard it before, but it's easy to figure out. I still looked it up.

I don't think there would have been much to worry about in a rando with a young Marlon Brando.

I didn't know he once looked like this. Haha. Sorry.

Heard it used in online gaming, usually in a derogatory context.

For the OP's question, I never slept at someone's house I didn't know pretty well first.
