Hi guys, I have decided, after a lot of thought to come out to my straight best friend (who I am madly in love with) to see how he responds. It's unlikely but if he secretly likes me as well this could let him know I'm available to him. If he knows I like guys he won't be as shocked when I tell him how I feel. I'm 99% sure he is straight but the fact that he treats me more affectionately than his other friends and finds excuses to make physical contact (which messes with my head ) makes me hope he could be bi or bi curious. My question is: Is there a subtle way that I can hint that Im into guys without actually saying the words? Maybe mention Pride or something?
Talking about celebs that you find hot af could work and well talking about lgbt related topics could work as well. Note: many people don't get the hints.
Post you favourite guy celebrity on social media if he follows you. And if yours mutual friends follow you and you them, unfollow/block them if you know they don't like/support LGBT people. Wear a Pride/LGBT button or jewellery next time you guys meet.
My opinion - if he's really your best friend, then have the conversation with him and tell him straight up (no pun intended). Hinting just adds more potential confusion. Best friends should be able to have that dialogue.
