    Indirectly came out to brother at age 16, by him insisting I'm gay, and me denying it but then he says he reckons I'm bi and I nodded. This happened multiple times- though even now over a year later he does not mention it really.
    I came out officially to close friends not so long ago, aged 17, after my close friend came out as gay, I couldn't hold it any longer. I have bisexual friends as well who are out about it and I just could not stand it anymore. I practically forced myself out the closet. Best decision ever. I still have the hard part to do, which is tell the parents. I want to do it casually and organically, rather than a serious revelation, because then it won't be such a big deal for everyone.

    Weird as it sounds, I pretty knew my sexuality and was out by the age of 11. Being a bit older I haven't regretted anything and Still pretty much intact with my identity. I've had my mum try to closet me, but I figured out that not being true to myself has scarred me.

    I feel as though I should know the exact date, but I can't be so sure. Definitely over 21, more likely 22.

    I was 15 when I "came out".

    There was no agony or drama involved in my choice to come out because I was caught having a boyfriend. :grin:

    I used the house landline phone to communicate with my boyfriend at the time.

    There was more than one phone in the house using the same line.

    So, I was caught.

    i came out with one of my bestfriends when i was 13, now i had coming out with some friends and i tried to talk about my homosexuality with my family but... I want to come out with everyone!

    Came out in my 20s ( a long time ago) but just came out to my 18 yr old daughter today and she just thanked my for being honest with her and it was my business who I told and she would respect that. I wish it had been like that when I as her age! But I'm very pleased that is done move on yeah!

    I came out to some friends when I was 19, but I was officially out to everyone at 21! It'll be two years since I came out to my family in July ;D

    I'm gonna say 16-17 because thats how old I currently am and I just told my one person last week. My family and friends probably won't know until I'm 18 or 19, maybe later..depends

    In answer to my own question (which I asked when I was a little over 14) - I kinda told my best friend when I was around 15/16 - at the time we used to joke/talk about these sexuality and got very close so he just knew, there was no real formal coming out.

    I didn’t really come out more generally until 5 years later at the age of 20, and that same friend I first told is the one supporting me right now as I open up to family!
