How old was your mom when she had u?

25, 2 years older than I am now.

 

mom was 23 dad was 26. but there were 2 kids before me, girl then boy then me then another boy then there was supposed to be a kid sister but she didn't make it.

 

My mother was 32 Just like yours!

I was born 4 days before her 23rd Birthday.

Hmm not sure but I would like to know. Sucks I'm not close to either of them to ask them such a question.

Hmmm... Well I'm intrigued by this, my mom was in her mid 30s and dad in his 40s when I was born, I could relate with having a too tight bond since I am an only child. Mine did discourage sexuality due to (his) rather strict conservative victorian private school upbringing, quite stiff upper lip and distant as he was with me? I guess it can be said that age is and is not an issue at the same time. There are old people with modern thinking and young people with old world ideas. Also older parents are waay more common now & in the late 90's - 00's then they were in the 80's/90's (due to medical IVF etc advancement).It's all very confusing and the ideas of parents are mostly determined by the environment in which they were raised.
It does matter IMO if we are talking of a first child or one with elder siblings, see in many cases an eldest sibling does have a hand in raising a younger one and/or at least molding, modernizing the ideas of their parents.
P.S. my apologies on dragging a simple question in the chit chat forum through a thorough analysis.

 

My mom was in her mid 30s she had spent about 8 years in school and didn't get to having kids right away. My cousin in law (is that a thing?) just had a baby at 40.

 

i dont remember her being pregnant but i was a little kid and at the children's hospital for much of that time.

just do the math, your a certain age, she/he is a certain age simple subtraction.

 

24 with me and then 25 and 27 with my sisters

 

Mom was 38 when she had me and 35 when she had my sister. Big age difference in parents, though, my dad's 13 years older than her.
