How old was your mom when she had u?

Like 16, my dad was 25 I believe. She had my sister a year before that as well.

Probably explains some of her immaturity and the lack of parenting on her part.

 

19 - 20. I can't remember for sure.

Very, very interesting. I have sort of noticed that kids born to older parents have been LGBT more often, from knowing a lot of people. This could be a developmental component. The parents usually have a bond with the kids that is almost too tight and don't want to release them to the real world, it seems. I wouldn't say they discourage sexuality, but they don't talk about it as much, either. I do think that older parents are really into their kids having good education and careers, and don't put as much pressure on them for grandchildren. What I've seen is parents who dated young, married young or didn't marry at all, and had kids early are the ones who think it's weird if their kids are dating by a specific age of their determination and are the ones to nag more about grandchildren. I'm glad my parents weren't young parents. It would have been cool if they were a little younger, but I'm somewhat content with what I got.

 

Erm, 28 I think. I'm not sure about my dad, but I'll say he was 26-29; though I think my mom said he's younger than her.

My mom was 32 I believe.

 

My parents were both 29 when I was born...a weak moment on a New Year's Eve...I'm an only...they lost their first child after a few months due to a birth defect and were cautioned not to have children...8 years later surprise!

 

She was 32 when she had me. And she was, er, 24, 27 and 40 when she had my sisters. :lol:

 

16 my mum was very young.

My mom was 30, and my dad was 31.

 

My parents met very late in life. My mom had me at 38, and my dad was 49, and then they had my sister a year later. I've been mistaken for my dad's grandson on many occasions.
