Just today I casually found out one of my female friends was Pansexual, I got very excited and I took the chance to tell her I’m Bi (I’m usually very closeted, but I felt comfortable telling a fellow LGBT)

More often that not, in most circumstances and situations I run into other LGBT people.

But most of the time they are judgmental, racist assholes being that I'm a black feminine gay man.

Or they are living their lives happy, and don't want me apart of it.

I occasionally bump into other LGBT people. My former manager at work was gay and tried to hit on me a few times, but we had very different interests and personalities so we didn't click. Also ran into a few in my university classes.

IF there are LGBT people at my workplace, they aren't very vocal or open about it. My first boss (Same company as now) is a lesbian, but I don't know of any others. It's quite a large company, with branches all over, so it's possible that there are other LGBT peeps but none that I'm aware of. Not many people at work know about my sexuality either, I'm very selective of who I talk to about it

I haven't met any LGBT people on any of my internships, though LGBT woodworkers seem to be a bit rare. One of my classmates is bi though and most of the guys in the Interior designer and upholsterer courses come over as stereotypically gay.

While I’m sure ther are LGBT people where I work, I’m not aware of any of them. Of course, they are unaware of me, so I guess we are good at keeping secrets

My manager is gay and i have another team member who is also gay. I'm bi. So in a team of 10 that's pretty diverse ☺️ our team recently won the diversity award because we have two Aboriginals and equal mix of male and female (slightly more female actually) and a disabled person.

Outside of my direct team there are quite a few LGBT people in my workplace, we even have our own pride network.

Not many that I know of, I'm only working right now and have only seen one gay man and one transman (all employees btw).

I know about a plenty of LGBT people at my school actually.
At least 4 teachers I know are gay.
1 of my classmate friends is bi, another one in my class is a lesbian. And I know about at least 3 other guys who are either bi or gay.

It’s interesting reading these posts about gay and bi kids in school. I went to school in the 80s. Back then you definitely stayed in the closet. I’m not sure what would have happened to any of us if we would have come out then. Constant ridicule at least

I know of two openly lgbt people in my year at school, and another one in the year above me. Really not many people are open about this stuff from where I'm from, and incidentally most of those who are open about this stuff are very left wing, where as I try to avoid the subject as I'm out to some people, overtly camp but not out to others, and to others I play it completely straight.

My work is the opposite, Homophobic assholes everywhere! That includes my managers and most of my co-workers. :/

I find that my profession attracts LGBT+ people. At my University, there's two bi girls and myself in my year; and two gays (guy and a girl) in first year and a transman; the first trans person I met irl.

Can't think of any LGBTQ+ people I've met at work. Then again, I've been bouncing around from job to job a lot the last few years, so maybe I just wasn't around long enough to find them.
However, the foam swordfighting/medieval renactment group I'm in has a decent LGBTQ+ population. Most of the queer people I've met I've met through that. (Not really a workplace or school, but I think it's close enough)
