I've lived in 5 houses and 1 apartment here in Arizona and 3 houses in Illinois.
Five. Condo, house, dorm, back to house, apartment, condo.
8 houses in the United States, 2 apartments in Spain, 1 dorm in the United States, 1 dorm in China, and 1 dorm in Taiwan.
I've been to Philippines, Singapore, and Hongkong.
Same house my whole life.
I believe 10 different places. And almost every place for 2-3 years, so you get a bit attached. Now I don't wanna move anymore haha
I lived in the house I grew up in in Reno from the time I was born in 1991 to the time I started college in 2009, at which point I moved to Berkeley, California and lived in a dorm for one year, then a house off-campus for the next two years, and an apartment the last year. I then stayed there for almost another two years (in a different apartment). I'm now back in Reno living in an apartment downtown (about a 20 minute drive from my parents' house) working on my PhD at UNR and teaching at a local high school.
So in total that's 6 places, 2 states, and one place for 18 years.
3 towns and 1 city in Illinois, and 1 city in England.
That makes 5! 5 places! Ah-ah-Aaaaaah!
2 houses, both in England since I've never moved to a different country.
I lived in one for about 16 years, and I have been living in my current house for about 2 and a bit years...
I've lived in two places so far. The first was a double-wide trailer in rural Washington where I grew up. The second is the single-wide I live in now while going to university. It's a nice place in a quiet neighborhood and close to public transit.
Between 2004 and 2007/2008 I lived in a good number of places. 20 or more would be a good guess, including a car and, at one time, on a tattered old couch in an abandoned warehouse.
Then, my last landlord was looking to sell the place I was living in. He gave me first dibs on it, and I took it. I've been living here ever since (approximately a decade now).
I’ve lived in the same house for my entire life, but we did have to rent an apartment when my roof burnt.. but I don’t exactly count that.
I've lived in an apartment in Mexico, three other apartments in Spain and finally a terraced house in Ireland.
First house for 4 years
Second (with grandparents) for 1 year
Third for 10 years
Fourth (first apartment) for 2 years
Fifth (second apartment) for 3 months
9 different places (7 houses, 2 mobile homes). Two different geographic parts of the US, and a total of 4 different states. Longest stay: about 16 years (last childhood home). Shortest stay: probably the place my parents lived when I was born (probably about 6 months).
A house, then another house (that we shared with my aunt for a year), then another house (5 years), then a single room in another aunt's basement for three days (did I mention we're a family of SIX?), then with yet a different aunt for three months, then a too-small house in the middle of fucking nowhere for another three months, then a camper for six months, then a house for two years, camper (again) for a year, house for two years, camper for three months, and finally the house I've been in for four years.
I swear, if I have to live in a goddamn camper again I will cannonball myself into the Sun. Wouldn't be so awful if I hadn't had to share the damn thing more than once with five other people.
5 houses, in three towns/villages in two counties.
5 house had to move cause of war and some relatives who just don't want us in their uninhabited house >.>
I have lived in 4 different apartments. One until I was 2, another until around 1st grade, and the next one until 16, and then there's the one I'm in now.
I have been in so many living spaces, but I can't call any of them a home, because they're not mine, and I didn't spent my whole life in any of them. It's weird not having a place to consider my real home. Home is just wherever I currently live. There's no house to go back to.
Some day I hope to have a real home.
