I just uploaded a new profile pic, and it says it will appear after being "moderated".... I'm imagining this will be like weeks?

I wish my old one would stay up until the new one was moderated....

Hey don't quote me on this but I think it is quite quick it just depends when the staff are on and have a chance to look at it, I know for the album photos I uploaded it was usually the same day.

I know it took a little while for mine to come by, but that was after the site was freshly remodeled so I can imagine the staff members were quite busy.

It probably shouldn't be that long since things seem to be pretty settled. In fact, looks to me like it's made it though?

Usually not more than a day or two at most, often less. The staff is pretty quick about reviewing photos and such.

It really depends on the staff that are online at the time. We try to clear out the moderated images and posts as quickly as we can.

As Brad said, staff review pictures when members post them, to determine whether they are appropriate for EC. And yes, if you upload an avatar/profile picture, it will appear next to your posts and on your profile page.
