I basically came out over night after months of not dating anyone after my last girl break up . Mom suspected I was different my whole life , and for being a Christian she is rather supportive , my dad is also okay with my sexuality . I decided to come out to my dad months ago saying simply “ Dad I don’t want to date anymore men”. And he went “ oh , okay”. For mom I came out over text and wearing lesbian jewelry , and hanging up rainbow flag and lesbian flag in my room . She accepts me I hope she will drive me to pride next year because I can’t drive yet , I’m 26. And then I came out to my best friend of 18 years and sent a picture of rainbow candy and said “ I’m so gay I eat rainbows “ So yeah that’s how I came out , alittle anxious but proud
Hey Slailie249, It's always nice to read about coming out stories, and it seems you did great! And it's also nice that your parents are supportive!
Thanks for sharing your coming out story. I like that you came out differently to everyone. Wonderful that everybody is accepting.
