how/from where did you pick your avatar?

Some Bioshock fan-art I found on Devientart.

 

The current one is actually something I had made.

I do sometimes change Avatars, usually its a picture(or part of a one) that I took.

 

It's from a gorgeous art piece from a fairy tale anime~ this character is Sleeping Beauty <3 I cropped her face and then used the sky background for my signature~ it's one of my favorite Latin quotes which means, "Love conquers all, let us, too, yield to love" <3

 

I was originally going to have one with the aurora borealis, but decided on this space one instead.

 

Mine is just me with some silly sunglasses (although you can't really tell, because the avatar is so small).

 

It's of a singer I like.

It sort of reminds me of Laverne from Day of the Tentacle, but with a pink shirt instead of green.

 

I Googled TurGre because it's one of my favorite yaoi shippings. Thought this was a really cute picture.

 

Xandir from Drawn Together. He's the gay character from the show, a parody of Link from Legend of Zelda or perhaps Tidus or Cloud from FFX / FF7. His character and the several LGBT themed-episodes of that show were monumental in my own coming-to-terms process with my sexuality. Plus, his character is hilarious on the show

 

I was looking at the pre-made avatars, I got to the second page. Saw Gandalf. Thought to myself "wow I like Gandalf." I picked Gandalf. Really just as simple as that.

 

I found mine online but for some reason, despite the fact that I have resized it to meet the specifications, it will not upload.

Google images, but the reason I chose it is because I've often been told that foxes represent me well, and also I've recently gotten into graphic design and I particularly like low-poly art which is the kind of polygon-composed art exhibited in my avatar pic. I'd have made it myself but so much lazy and so little time.

 

It was a gif on Tumblr that I saved on my phone. Couldn't find it again anywhere else.
