I think he might mean how hipsters try to not dress "mainstream" and bikers don't care they just wear whatever. So even if something is like a popular stereotypical brand like Harley they won't not wear it just because it's popular, whereas a hipster would?

Trust me. If you ever see a real biker you will see the difference between a biker and a hipster. It’s also an attitude. By the way, I have a long beard but no one would mistake me for a hipster

the hipsters became so mainstream that they lost their point altogether. well, i don't know... it doesn't seem the opposite. in an obvious way.

with the attitude, I get it

Hipsters revel in being intentionally ironic, and usually come off as condescending, believing they are smarter than everyone else. Bikers just don’t give a fuck. There is a typical kind of hipster uniform, I wear whatever I want. I’m not a biker but I share some of the attitude. By the way, there is a difference between someone who rides and a real 1 percenter mc member. One sort of looks the part, but once you see a real one you will know the difference

To be honest, I don't think I met a real hipster, only fake ones who just go for the clothes . And in general, now I relise how little I know the subcultures scene. Not my current crowd, I guess.

I'd say hipsters are softies compared to bikers. When it comes to attitude.

I would think so, although I’ll admit, while I have seen them, I don’t actually know any. I’m not trying to compare myself to them, I just look a little like them. Not sure how many are bi or gay, I’m sure they stay in the closet

Hipster guys are stereotyped as gay/bi!
So you look somewhat like a hipster xD right. I get where you're coming from.

No I look more like a biker than a hipster. Yes that is the stereotype. I go against it, I don’t show any of the stereotypes but I’m most definitely bi

I agree with this. If a guy is a hipster I'm more likely to think he might be queer.

    Alright.
I also like guys despite being rather masculine myself. Heck, I don't even like to date guys! I mean, the heteronormative guys who push on stereotypical gender roles. Those specifically, but they are the majority. But yeah, I like to look at guys, and stuff. I would totally sleep with one of those typical dudes, I'd just skip all the foreplay and get down to business :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

    @emerry & @Love4Ever
some more androgynous ways i like to dress are
    •suspenders
    •vests
•untypical shoes for an outfit (i like old fashioned lace up boots with everything, which were men’s back in their day, though maybe sort of femme now)
    •wide banded watch or bracelet
    •collared shirts
•v neck t shirts (i like on men and women, i think they look sort of masculine on women and femme on men?)
    •wise band belt
•hip satchel (bonus when added to belt)
    •leather jacket

Love that. I actually like hypermasculine men and hyper feminine women.

Lol. I'm like that. I love guys from a physical standpoint. Physically I'm more attracted to them than I am to girls. I just really like the male body. But dating them? I don't know. I used to think the idea sounded appealing, but yeah there seem to be too many expectations for dating men that I don't have any interest in following. So I'd rather date women. But I could happily look at gorgeous men all day.

I like the belt idea. I own a couple of vests which I like. I don't have a leather jacket but I have a suede one that I wear when it's cold enough.

My preferences are a mess. I know for sure that both feminity and masculinity are attractive for me. In all aspects. I used to think I don't find masculinity attractive, but I hink I used a wrong referncd group and now I think... no, I like it. I just used to think about the more stiff geeky masculinity, not like, sporty guys. Sporty guys are great! No, it's just I find both fem and masc attracrive. Or a mix of those. But it has to be there! I guess I'm not abnormal about it...

I personally think the combination of vest/tie with a tshirt and jeans reads really masculine to me. I wore a tie to school once and I loved it! I felt so good in it. It was actually at the encouragement of a queer girl that I wear it and boy was she right. I had guys AND girls looking at me. One of her friends complimented me on it and a guy smiled at me while walking by. I haven't worn one since because I'm not out. :frowning2: But when I move out I will be doing it again.

You can buy a faux leather jacket, they are cheper than real leather and you can get them in almost any clothong store.
