i think some people can be subtle. i think when i like someone i accidentally flirt. i show my humour and show more petty banter. im not always to sure when someones is flirting with me face to face. i think with girls it can be difficult cause girls normally are more intimate depending on their nature from past experience i think girls do the following: whisper amongst friends stare then giggle (like school girls) looked you up and down the teasing followed by a apologie then deep stare in the eyes constantly irritating you for no reason distracting you for no reason catching you're eye when you're of day dreaming making you the centre of attention in a group complements with a gazing stare sometimes more physical like sitting on your lap acting more crazy in your presence acting childish trying to get your attention staring then smiling at you laughing with you for no reason being "extra" nice winking watching your facial expressions teasing you in front of others sharing with you (everything and anything including thoughts) awkward silences petty behaviour play arguments doesn't stop talking about you to other people making you feel embarrassed and awkward cause they find it cute when you complement them they act very happy and go on and on about it
when you catch people staring at you from across the room it means they might like you lol though it could also mean they're plotting your murder...
Out of All the people that confessed to me that they liked me, I didn't have ANY clue previously. Maybe I'm thickheaded. But some of my close friends say that my behavior is misleading sometimes. (I often have RBF and rarely speak, but I can come off as flirtatious sometimes too?)
