    Do any of your fellow drivers know you are gay? Guys ok about it? I was Maintenance in a hotel for several years, never was out, guys were always making the stupid fag jokes and such. One trucker comes in often though, where I work now, he has a really cool tat up his arm of a feather shaded in the rainbow colors. Pretty certain he is LGBT.

    There are a few. They are ok with it. Most people I tell either say I always knew or whoa that’s crazy brush it off and we all keep doing our thing. I’ll have guys get to raising hell on the old CB and they can get pretty raunchy and I’ll make a comment about being respectful and most of em will back off.

    The one that kills me is my brother, and he has no idea that I’m gay. But he will call me and every now and again will pipe off with the most bigoted homophobic stuff you could imagine. He has brought me to tears more than once. I can’t believe that a man who claims to be a “Christian” can be so hateful. Matter of fact last night was one of those nights.

    Anyway, when you work in a alpha male dominated industry you get the pleasure of hearing all the bs jokes and snide comments. I’m ballsy enough I will make comments to try to side line it. Never had anyone bow up on me, but I’m kind of a big dude so maybe that helps. Lol

    Yeh, I was and the local Napa awhile back are there was a guy spouting off about a kid (20 something) in town that is bi. I finally fold him someday someone was going to knock him on his ass and that day might be today because I "thought" I was bi as a teenager. Shut his hole up and was really nice the last time I saw him. I kind of wonder how many question themselves?
