Since i'm bisexual, definitely yes haha. Almost every woman I've crushed on has been straight. Only one that I can think of that wasn't straight was a bisexual girl I worked with.

For guys, yea, I've crushed on straight guys and it's annoying and irritating. When I usually realize that I'm crushing on a straight guy or a straight friend I try and make my feelings go away immediately. Usually I'll hang out with other people for a few weeks until I feel that my feelings went away.

Of course, this doesn't usually work and I usually wind up crushing harder on them lol.

I don't ever fall for a person I KNOW is straight, because it would be a waste of energy to try and pursue anything. If there is any shred of doubt about that person's sexuality, I will crush on that person

I think everyone I've ever had a crush on was straight, but I don't know for sure.

Oh dear god yes. There was this girl who worked with me and I had the BIGGEST crush on her. Every time I would talk to her I would get all flustered and not know what to do. And unfortunately for me, I'm fairly certain she was straight. I never had the guts to ask her out though...

I think it's only natural given that gay people are something like 5% of the population.

I've had several mini crushes on straight guys but nothing that put me head-over-heals in love. More of a "I wouldn't complain if he were gay" kind of thing. I tend not to develop string feelings for people who aren't mutually interested in me.

Yes. When I was in highschool.

This was back long before I realized I was trans. She was a sweet girl and I sat next to her in most of my classes. When it came out that I liked girls the rumour that I liked her started to spread like wildfire. It was true, of course, but I never admitted it. I think she knew it was true too, as did her boyfriend. (Who went from having a fairly neutral opinion of me to a straight up negative one.)

She was one of the few people I actually enjoyed talking to in school though that added with the fact that she was dating and straight prevented me from actually acting on my crush.

I do hope she's happy though. I haven't heard from her in years.

Given that I didn't know the sexuality of most of my crushes and going based on probability, most likely.

Sure. And I married one (bisexual-cishet husband). But since that's not an option for a lot of people, I'd say wait it out.

All the time! It wasn't until a month ago that I finally have had a crush on someone who was gay. I still don't have a chance with them... but at least I don't feel like I'm completely wasting my time.

Plenty of women who were straight but you kinda had a second thought on some things they did. But it's normal there are way more straight people in the world so it's bound to happen. I'd just take the complement we like them that way.

Sadly that's exactly what happened a few weeks ago. I try to ignore my feelings, but... well, let's just say it doesn't go that well. Right now I'm at the point where I try to not meet her too often. But since we have a few classes together and we actually have a good connection I can't hide from her.
She already asked me why I'm not sitting with her at lunch and why I'm eating somewhere else.

That's life. Maybe my feelings go away some day... Who knows ^^
