I'm sorry you experienced that. It must be an ugly feeling!

Fortunately, I've never experienced something blatant, just situations that left me wondering what the hell.

Not for my orientation no, but for my appearance yes. I was once walking along wearing a hoodie, and I passed a group of teenage boys. One of them yelled out "ew, I would never have sex with that" at me, and the others laughed. It was a bit of a blow to my confidence, but I tried to shrug it off anyway. I was almost tempted to yell back "the feeling is mutual" but I didn't. :icon_wink

It's weird because I've had people tell me that they are envious of my looks, and I once had someone tell me that they'd date me if they were younger (they were 21). So er...yeah.

    Nope, never.

I don't know if it would happen though because I'm not visibly trans or gay. However, I'm in a pretty accepting area, so that would be surprising.

It's sad that it happened to you.

That boy was a liar. Teenage boys will have sex with damn near anyone, under varying circumstances...

It was just his Beavis and Butthead version of a "proposition."

Not at all fortunately, at least not for my sexuality anyway. Only hate I used to receive was due to the area I used to live in, but that soon stopped when they realized I was not the typical push over.

Don't know what it was relating to but I was walking to the bus after college a while ago and traffic was stand still. Car with a group of guys started shouting random shit at me as I was trying to cross the road even with a bunch of other college kids around. Stuff like "look at that", "what are you", I don't know I was just trying to get away from them. At the time I was probably at my most 'lesbian' stage regarding how I looked so that might have played a part.

Yes, I have....several times. However, this one particular dealt with me looking at a house that was for rent in a pretty nice area. The rent was pretty cheap and from what qualities that were listed in the newspaper, I had to go look at this place in person. Surprisingly, the place was all that it said it was and then some. The agent who was showing the place was really nice and was doing everything in her power to sell me the place. I finally decided to take it and we agreed to meet the next day for signing of the papers, etc. Unfortunately, once me and my cousin arrived...someone had taken a can of black spray painted and wrote all over the outside of the place..."N***er you are not welcome here!!!!..."We Hate N***ers!!!! and they drew the ace of spades in other areas as well. The realtor arrived the same time we did and you could see the embarrassment all over her face. Of course, I decided not to pursue the place but I will never forget that incident.

I was once out for a jog which I try to do daily and a car of teens drove by and well passing me opened their windows and threw pop its (Those lil white things kids throw that make sparks on impact) than the same car drove by again about 5 minutes later and threw more and caught the sleeve of my jacket on fire for a few seconds leaving a hole. But that wasn't a "Cus your gay" thing so much as teenagers acting stupid.
