Have you ever dyed your hair? Would you? What color?

Blonde tips 15 years ago when it was the "in" thing to do.

 

My hair is originally blonde but I have it dyed black now, I like it but I don't know about adding too many bright colors. I don't like bringing too much attention to myself.

 

Never dyed my hair before, and my natural hair colour being dark black all the way through I wonder how well it might work out. I haven't thought about it that much but I might consider doing something a bit different to it in the future...who knows? Maybe dark brown or just a brownish gold is something I could play around with, but at the moment I'm pretty happy as it is I suppose. (Nor can I practically really experiment with hair that much where I am at the moment)

 

I want to dye mine black with cyan ends once it gets longer.

 

Back when I was 19, I dyed my hair purple for a while, and blue. I wanted to dye flamingo pink, but never got around to it. Of course that's just the wild colors. I dyed it blonde frequently, as well as auburn. Now, I just don't feel like I can get away with all that as easily.

 

I've started to dye my hair and beard an interesting shade of... grey. It was just a little bit at first, but as I approach my 40th birthday I'm getting more daring with the colour.

 

Consider yourself lucky. As I watch the hairline start to recede, I'd count my lucky stars for any hair that gets to go grey. That's why I never bother over grey in my beard.

 

No and I don't want to. I like my black hair.

 

I really want to dye a portion of my hair a lilac/lavender type colour!

 

Green with wash out dye for spirit week in high school. I wear different color wigs sometimes but I'm primarily blonde now.

 

I have never had the guts to dye my hair, but there are couple of colors I would really love to try - platinum blonde and black.

 

I've done bleach blonde, black, light brown, auburn, and reddish blonde. My natural color is dark brown. I kind of want to do fire engine red, or purpley black.

 

When I was 18, I dyed my hair black. I probably wouldn't do that again. I would, however, dye it brown if I started going gray.

 

I have blonde highlights in my hair that I get done every few months. When I was a teenager I had wanted pink streaks but I never did it. Now it's too late.

 

I've never dyed my hair, but I desperately want to. I would try blue, purple, pink, blue, black, brown. I want to eventually try every color of the rainbow! Except blonde, because I'm already blonde and it looks horrible on me. <3

 

Once. Tried to dye it brown, ended up ginger (and not a flattering shade either) - that sort of faded auborn red that middle aged women tend to go for. God did it look awful.

Never again.

I've always ALWAYS desperately wanted to dye it something crazy like fishbowl blue (like in Mr Vengeance), yellow, pink or peroxide blond (like the kid in Elephant below):





BUT a. I cannot get away with it in my line of work, and b. I probably don't have enough hair to pull it off dramatically!

Sigh, if only! Maybe one day I'll do it selfishly "for charity"! :lol:

 

I wanted to dye it blonde to see how I'd look but that would require bleaching it and I really don't want to damage my hair. Plus, people keep on saying that my skin is too olive in tone to pull blonde off. I think they're right.. plus with my brown eyes and nearly black eyebrows, I'd probably look strange.

Don't want to end up looking like my namesake, Aaron Carter (well, first name only).

 

I dyed my hair many times over the years, my natural hair is quite dark so I had them bleached for over a decade. I've tried bleach blonde, beach blonde, orange, red, green, blue, turquoise, silver, white... haha

 

I've always wanted to dye my hair bright blue but, as my hair is a dark brown, I never wanted to go through the hassle of bleaching it.

So now, if I ever notice my hair is graying, I'll dye it blue.
