Have you ever dyed your hair? Would you? What color?

I've never dyed my hair.
I've got naturally jet black hair so I was thinking of getting green highlights. Or maybe turquoise.
I can't do such things until I'm with my parents. They scream at the first sight of overgrown hair XD.

 

Haha, I did that. I had long natural hair so my step-dad would be happy (mom was more accepting than dad) but literally within 24 hours of being at college I went into the bathroom and lopped it all off. It was intense.

As far as the whole dorms thing, as long as you aren't creepy, and you let the RA know if you have a problem with your roommate, you can usually do fine in dorms.

Also, you can do things like single person rooms, which are a bit more expensive but have lass of the roommate drama.

And what? You got a problem with my green streaks? Lol.

Btw, hot colors (reds, pinks, oranges) do well being dyed at home, but cool colors (blue, purple, GREEN) tend to have a bit harder time, so it might be better to go to a professional for those.

 

I think. I think today, I'm going to bleach some lighter blonde highlights into my hair.

My recently dyed my hair black because there's too many white hairs that's sprouting on the side of my head. If I were to dye my hair again, I would dye it with the color... Red. Then I would kill myself Seriously tho, I want black on the base of my hair fading to green, like this

 

I used to have red bangs when I was on my emo phase in high school. Then I was thinking of dyeing my whole hair red, but after I cut it I think it won't suit me anymore. I don't know what color will look good on me.

 

I dyed my hair blue, which atm has faded to green- it's temporary dye, so in a month or two it'll probably be completely gone. I am considering dying my hair black and getting an "emo cut"... After all, my skin is very pale so I think I could rock the look. I am a naturally light brown-haired person. Light brown or very very dark blonde- I prefer saying light brown personally.

 

It probably depends on your dye, but with blue (a very vibrant color) it may not fade all the way. So dyeing it again a darker color may speed the transition.

 

I bleached my bottom layers and dyed them hot pink~~ that was fun, but a lot of upkeep~ Then I went totally Alice in Wonderland and went bleached blonde...

and then Frozen came out one month later T.T why..........

But that's what I am now~ I have to do my roots every 5-8 weeks or so, but it's pretty cheap here so it's not too bad ^.^

 

Currently, I dyed it black with purple ends.

In the future, I'm wanting to do lavender entirely.
My hair is rather long so I could do a gradient color too, might like that.

Either way I plan on keeping my hair a shade of purple.

 

I dye my hair quite often. I stick to blues and greens for the most part, but have ventured into purple territory a few times. In a bizarre mixing of dyes gone wrong, I even ended up with bright magenta hair, which faded into this gross salmon colour, and clung to my hair until I had to just chop it off :lol:

I've been rocking my natural hair colour for a few months now, but plan to go dark green in the next week or two. Haven't decided if I'm going to go whole head, just the fringe, or something less conventional yet.

Don't let fear of a colour looking bad stop you! That's half the fun of dying your hair

 

I want to dye my hair a deep red. I would go blue, but when it fades it goes green.

 

Multiple times...bottom half of my hair was blue at some point, green, blonde, and white lol other than that I've switched between black and brown a couple of times. I want something new but I haven't decided what...suggestions?? :icon_wink

 

I have dyed mine every color except purple, over the last year or so. Usually it's pink. I actually just dyed it pink again last week.

My hair is naturally a rust red colour and frankly, I hate it. Many people compliment the color and desire it (since it is apparently not easy to get via dye). However, I'm going to change it to a dark brown or black soon.

Now I have asked for another hair dyeing for Christmas, this time I'll be lame and go for dark brown

 

I dyed my hair dark red once. didn't look good. My natural haircolour is blond-dark blond. Walked around with a hat a lot. Learned from my mistake and never dyed my hair again. But now people keep asking me how and where I dyed my hair. So I think it doesn't look that bad naturally...

I once dyed it purple and it came out red.
I want to go Harley Quinn (red and black) or blonde with red and black dip dye.

My hair is naturally brown and I'm thinking of getting pink dip dye.

 

Right now my hair are dyed in red, but I'm getting bored of it. I would love to try a blue hair dye!

 

I never dyed my hair. I have such lovely long, dark brown hair and I'm not really sure why I would want to cover it up for an extended period of time.

Besides, I'd never be able to settle on a color.
