I did once in high school, only during lunch. I and a few other friends left and went to Safeway and were back in time for class. It was supremely lame. But at least I can say that I've done it.

I did it countless times because of boredom or tiredness (not exaggerating with it though) especially when I wouldn't get an absence for it.

But there was this one time when I simply stormed out of the class with tears in my eyes just AFTER the teacher had come in because of some bullies. That was one of the worst days of my life.

Nah, not really. I skipped classes 3 times in my like. All in university when the profs don't care about attendance, the classes I skipped had shitty profs and I needed that class time for other stuff.

I used to ditch the last period of school when I was in eighth grade. My teachers were not in touch and I never got caught. I used to shoplift while I was ditching too. Then I went to alternative high school and didn't need to ditch anymore.

I was such a nice kid. I never did ditch school (but I never did my homework, until my teacher did something against it).

However, now it looks a little different. I have a rule that says I can ditch every lesson once (not more). But I already broke it. I really need to get it together xD

Ha! I wished I could say I was one of the cool kids that ditched class but, no. I only ditched class when I was sick and that was to stay home and eat crackers. I was one of the kids that just sat in the back of the class and listen to emo bands.

No, I have a fear of authority figures so I wouldn't want to make them angry.

Many times in High School. Most of the time it was because I was sick from the Pseudotumor cerebri that I didn't know I had yet (I was diagnosed 3 years later). One day, in January of 2007, I skipped school with my sister and my friend Kelsie. We drove around downtown Birmingham for fun. We went down this one run-down neighborhood and saw a big dog running around with a litter of puppies. I told myself that if I were to get one, I'd get the one that looked the worst. So, I looked and saw a small black puppy laying near a pile of ants, and covered in scabs. I picked her up, wrapped her in a towel, and took her home. She is now a beautiful, 65 lb Labrador Retriever mix. She turns 9 next month.

I ditched one class in grade 10 w/ one of my good friends and we thought we were so rebellious. Then in grade 11 I ditched who knows how many classes b/c I simply didn't have the energy to get ready, but I guess I'm over that now. Glad high school's over for me.

Sort of. I've never ditched as in straight-up leaving, because my school was quite strict and I'm a pragmatist - it was never worth the consequences. However, I have pretended to be ill/called in sick when I wasn't, because it's basically the same thing except you don't get caught.

I think I up and left once during a lunch period in high school and didn't return. I did call in/fake sick quite often though.

I've missed/ditched a few college courses but I generally try not to skip or miss anything.

Not when I was a student. And I would get fired as a teacher.

Ditched like 50% of all classes in grade 7 and 8. My mom was cool with it so long as I kept up with my school work. In highschool, I ditched many a day, and many many classes. I got a good amount of detentions but always managed to wiggle out of them

I would not encourage ditching class, as it's really not beneficial at all. Maximising time with your teachers and attending every lesson will help you out way more in the long run.

A few times during high school. I lived very, very far from my school and some days I was so tired and worn out that I just didn't want to and could barely make it to a long day of classes and all the way back home again.

Now in college I occasionally ditch classes too. Not often, and sometimes it's a pain to catch up on things I've missed, but some days I need to take a mental health day off. I never ditch unless I absolutely don't feel like I can go to class that day.

No, I would never! Then I'd have all that makeup work to do! Totally not worth it!
