A colleague has challenged me to colour my hair and beard blue to raise money for charity. In all honesty, I think I will pass and just make a nice donation instead.

Just wondering if you colour your hair. What is the loudest colour or colour combo you have ever gone for?

I don't know ... can't it stain the bath tub or shower after it's over and done with?

I was a natural blond and ended up dying my hair black for musicals twice. It took quite a while for it to return to it's natural color! :old_stick_out_tongue: I've put splashes of bright blue in it a few times...I thought it looked good against the blond. Also one time for a Christmas fund-raiser at the high school where I taught I dyed half of it green and the other half red. I used Kool-aid powder (a soft drink mix for our UK friends). I washed it out that night but all day long I could smell cherry and lime!

I went for darker shade of gold/yellow when I was 16. It ended up being bright yellow. Luckily it was just streaks in my hair and not all of it ha ha. I hated it though.

I had plum colored hair for a bit, because my hair doesn't hold any kind of color for long and its damn near impossible to bleach. But that was a long time ago in high school.
