Grand theft Auto

Love the Grand Theft Auto series, all the way from the very first 'birds eye view' to GTA IV.
Sitting patiently for GTA V...but I'm getting very impatient.

I'd recommend Vice City, personal favourite and with out a doubt the best soundtrack.

 

I played some of them up until San Andreas. Still play that sometimes. GTA IV was too much for my PC to handle and there's no PS2 version so unfortunately I've never played that. But I do like the series

 

I thought Grand Theft Auto 4 sucked. For some reason, I could not get used to darker screenplay. Plus the camera seemed to always move down when trying to do something which always made me mad, lol. And I didn't like how characters would die when falling into the water. Like I don't know. Seems like those are small things to get upset about but I am just now finding out about Grand Theft Auto 5. That's exciting. I think San Andreas will always be my favorite. Seems like there was more room to do whatever and whenever in that game.

 

Last one I played was San Andreas. So much to keep you occupied in that game - think I wasted hours just in the casinos lol. Might dig it out and have a play, I reckon.

 

Loved GTA 2, and I have Vice City on my iPad.

 

Same here! I never did the missions. I just had crazy fun doing whatever like stealing planes and flying to other cities and I would put in this cheatcode so that I could go to the other cities without getting wanted stars. It was fun!

 

San Andreas is the crown jewel of the collection so far, with Gay Tony just behind it XD. I'm really excited for 5, though. It looks like they know SA was better than 4 and are going back to that sort of formula.

 

I love Grand Theft Auto. It's my favorite game of all time. I'm very excited for GTA 5 coming out this year. I would say San Andreas was the best one as well, but I did enjoy GTA 4 a lot too.

 

Same here. Most of what 4 had over SA was the gunplay. Pistols were actually useful, and aiming was way easier on consoles. The car physics were better overall if erring on the side of sluggish, but what I missed most was the customization, jets, planes, realistic (and useful) helicopters and the huge open world.

If they put the pros of 4 with the pros of SA, we're gonna have an instant classic.

 

I hope 5 will be good, I wasn't too impressed with 4. San Andreas is the best. by far. I felt like 4 was a step backwards for the series.

 

I played Vice City on playstation before I ever really got into gaming. It was fun even though I had no clue what I was doing. GTA4 I have played on PC. I like it well enough, but I mostly play multiplayer.

 

Last one I played was San Andreas.....awesome game!!!

I have GTA san andreas, and GTA IV... and i like san andreas the best... it's a much better experience and with sooo many cheat codes hehe... GTA IV i didn't like so much, as another person stated, i hate the overly dark atmosphere... they did a great job with the graphics but everything seemed too "real" like the movement of characters being too slow, and the laws of physics coming into play i didn't like that too much

GTA 5 is supposedly going to be the best GTA yet... they've stated that it's going to have the biggest map ever (even bigger than the san andreas map) but idk... im not buying it. im kind of over the GTA series.

 

I've played both Arma 2 and Just Cause 2. If they hope to impress me with their big beautiful game world, that crap better be absolutely cosmic. *JC2 is the biggest on on this comparison. Not the biggest ever though hehe.
