For college students or high school kiddos near the end of their semester, how're your grades looking?

    Mine:

    Composition II: A
    Civilization I: B
    College Algebra: D
    Introductory Sociology: A

Have a 3.0. I feel like my D overshadows my 2 A's. It's frustrating since I really wanted to pass Algebra too. I have to take Quanitative Skills (a math a step below Algebra).

    Next semester:

    Quanitative Skills- MATH 1100
Political History of US/Georgia- HIST 1100
Global Perspectives in Developmental Psychology- PSYC 2300
Principles of Biology I- BIO 1107
    Bio Lab- BIOL
Online Concepts of Fitness- PEBC 2300.

    Intro to Theater: B
    Intro to Programming: B
    Wester Civ since. 1600: A
    Inquiry to Values (Philosophy): A
    Discrete Math: C

I hated discrete math with a passion. I always understand math...when it's taught by females for some reason. When men teach it, it's confusing. Plus this teacher was a bit of a douche.

    Next semester:
    Oral Communication Process
    Data Structures
    Programming in C++
Elementary Statistics (required. Otherwise I'd take a better math class)
    Intro to American Gov.

    I was going to take a Creative Writing class, but I was wait-listed, leaving me with 10 credit hours. This would make me not qualify for full-time student scholarships, so I had to take the government class to fill it up. I was hoping to drop it if I ever got into the writing class, but alas...D: Now I'm stuck with a 9:00 AM ;~;

I swear to God that universities are purposely making mathematics hard for all to weasel out who's not cut out for the program which is really f**ked especially if you're doing well in the majority of your other degree courses -_- I failed one of the two Math courses needed for my degree and yet I'm getting 80s in everything else...

    IB:
    HL Maths is a headfuck.
SL Biology is an annoyance that requires too much regurgitation of information rather than an understanding.
SL Psychology is a disappointment that revolves around remembering names.
HL Economics is incredibly graph heavy.
SL English is hit and miss, i struggle to play against the mark scheme and end up just rambling.
    Philosophy lacks conclusiveness.
HL French is lovely to learn, but close to fluency in a year's time? Ouch

but nah, the latter five of those are okay, just a rather large step up from last year. I have no idea what grades i'm capable of though.

    Bio Lab: B
    Gen Chem: B+
    Physiology: B-

3.3 GPA, which isn't horrible, but I could have done better, although physiology and bio lab were just plain stupid ridiculously hard tests, and I loathed those classes with passion :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

Next semester, I'm probably going to take:
Art History, Gen Chem II, Calc II, Writing Seminar, and probably something else, which I haven't decided yet :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

I might be taking Third Semester Italian or German as well, that hasn't been decided yet.

Next semester will be fun though!
Microscopic Physical Chemistry, Transport Phenomena, Nuclear Phenomena, Professional Development, and Oil Politics. I'm psyched

My first semester doesn't finish until late January! And our grading system is different~. So I don't know my grades yet.

My only decision is whether to continue Biblical Hebrew next semester or not~ I don't really need to know it at an advanced level but I want to read Joooooonnnnnaah D:< grawr!

My semester doesn't end until late January..high school...

But here were my grades as of 12/10

    AP US History: A
    AP Chemistry: A
    French 1: A
    Pre-Calculus: B
    Honors Economics: A
    Forensics: A
    World Literature (English 12): A

How I have straight A's except in Pre-Calc is beyond me. In Economics and AP US History I expected a B- at best, and in Pre-Calc I expected a D.

By the way, I hate everyone who complains about not getting an A, but they still have a B or higher. A B (or higher) is a good grade, so shut the hell up because no one wants to hear about your desire to be impossibly perfect.

My brother's girlfriend..or should I say x-girlfriend used to do that all the time. She actually tried to use her name (Ashley Anastasia A______) as a reason why she should get A's because there are so many A's in it. He broke up with her for that, because that's what 40% of all their conversations were about, how she got an 89% instead of a 90%.
