So I finally got a subscription for birth control pills in order to stop my periods, which have been a major part of my gender dysphoria for a long time. Thank the gods that part of my life is now over (!)

I'm using Ortho-Cyclen and the instructions say to take it daily at the same time, so my question is: what is the 'grace period' so to speak between each pill? I currently take it at 6:30pm every day, but there are often times where I need to take it 30 minutes to 1.5 hours before/after that time.

I don't really care about how effective it would work as a contraceptive at the moment since I'm not sexually active and don't really plan on being so any time soon, but I AM worried about how effective it would be on stopping my periods.
