    A few people
    For the last month or so, I have been having a difficult time with my gender identity. I was uncertain if I was trans, a demigirl or if I really belong in the LGBTQ community and have realized that I may not belong here after all. I have gotten to the point where I feel that it is unhealthy for me to continue on like this. For that reason, I am planning on leaving EC but want to thank everyone for all the support that you all have given me. I appreciate it.

    I dont know you but I hope you stay.
    From this post alone it seems to me that you are confused and scared and fed up so you are running away and hiding from this.

    You dont sound like a person who has resolved their sexual and gender identity. You sound like you wish that you have resolved it... but you havent.

    I am so sorry that you are going through this terrible time and I completely understand the need to hide and take a break from it all. But, if you do leave, please remember that there is a place here for you to come back to.

    As I said, I dont know you, so I apologise if I have made any incorrect assumption here.

    I wish you the best of luck whatever you decide.

    I can't deny any of that. To be honest, I think that what I really need is just some time away from everything, but without removing my account. I feel like a coward and I feel ashamed of myself for even thinking of this kind of action now.

    Theres nothing to be ashamed of. You are going through something that most people dont have to deal with. You didnt ask for this. You dont owe anybody anything. And trying to take a break from it is a completely legitimate course of action to take.

    The only thing I would caution against is hiding from your issues for too long... You dont want to wake up in 20 years and have to start your journey all over again.

    I am sorry this is so tough. I am sorry that you have to go through this. I wish I could be of more help but, with all of the kind words and advice on here, in the end, it is you who has to do the most work. It is unfair but it is the inescapable reality.

    I really am sorry.

    It's alright. I feel that what happened is that I got in way over my head and that going back to my life the way it is will allow me to be at peace. That being said, I am truly grateful for the time that I have spent here and for your help.

    You do what you want. I toom a break from the forum myself to sort things out and... I can say i dont feel too dissimilar from how you do, but at the same time... i always feel like coukd be wrong, in my case the hakf of me that keeps saying im right is actually muuuuch stronger.
    Hence why i'm actually getting really used to just seeing rose. before it felt a little foreig but... now it just feels likit's my name. i like it~

    But enough about me. Do what you feel like you need to. Even if you're just here for some moral support for me wyeni'm down... or anyine for that matter.

    I will really miss you, we had some awesome avatar talks, and it's always nice to meet a fellow anime fan. I wish you the best of luck, and hope the time you take to consider things will help. But you're always welcome here, and there's no such thing as a faker- it's LGBTQ- for anyone who's trying to find themselves this site is here, it doesn't matter if you later find you're not gay/transgender, this site is open to everyone. So even if you realize you're not LGBT, you should still feel free to come back here. After all there's a lot of people who may be in the same situation as you, and could use your advice. :wink:
