Hi everybody, As you can see, this forum has been named as Gender Identity and Expression to offer a unique space for those who are trans* to get support and advice from their peers. We have a resources thread here, which we will continue to update to expand. We would also like to take this opportunity to remind you of a very important policy that the staff will be operating across the site, including this forum. Spoiler: Medication Dosages Policy Members may not discuss how to obtain hormonal medication without a prescription, or any specific dosages of hormones. Members should not post any messages condoning or suggesting the use of non-prescription drugs. i.e. herbal hormones. The posting of medication dosages is prohibited, as are any activities condoning the consumption of herbal or prescribed medication without being under a doctor’s supervision. Please be aware of the rule whenever you are requesting support or providing advice to another member. As a non-profit organisation, we have to tread a very careful line to ensure we do not overstep our boundary as a peer-led supportive organisation. Any posts violating this policy will be removed by the staff team. This policy is going to be strictly enforced, and any person found to be in violation of it will, at the very least, receive a strong warning via PM. If necessary, the staff team may even revoke a member's posting privileges in this forum (and its Anon equivalent) or issue further restrictions. If you have any support issues related to this policy, they should be dealt with directly by a licensed professional. Please bear this in mind when posting here.
