Bi transguy here who usually likes masc guys (and hot girls!).
I usually like girls, and I don't usually date at all, but I can like trans people (well...).

I have a friend who's MtF and just married a woman who had previously identified as a lesbian. Seems that they've each found their perfect mate!

That is adorable! I hope they're happy.

I'd totally date another transperson - FTM or even MTF, to be honest. I prefer male types, but I'm a little flexible - women have caught my eye in the past, I don't see why one wouldn't again, cis or trans. Like most people have already said, it comes down to compatability and other factors more than parts.

I wouldn't even make any distinction after the, uhh, transition(?) so I'd be fine with it. Before I'd be a bit more reserved. I'm sexually attracted to the male body after all, and no matter how much I loved someone I have to admit that I might hold back subconsciously.

Before the transition. Most probably. And after the transition, 100% yes.

Before I realized I was (bi/pan), I would happily date a trans guy but not a trans gal.

Though I think of myself as straight, I have a thing for androgynous looking guys, which would include other FTMs. So if I came across an attractive trans guy that I happened to fall in love with, I would definitely date him.

I would if I liked the person. I would actually go out with anyone if I liked them regardless of them being transgendered or not, but im not attracted to girls in even the tiniest way, and would only want to be friends with a girl, so that's why I identify as gay, since I only like guys. Trans guys are still guys though, even if they are FTM, so I guess it's possible. Im always willing to give pretty much anything a try, It just would never work for me with a girl or MTF. Sorry girls, to gay to play. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:ride:

Wow, old thread. I am bi and I wouldn't have a problem with it. You can find more in the gender and identity area down the main page just FYI.

I'm glad there are so many who would date transsexuals.

I would never even show my "down there" to my lover, so vaginaphobics have nothing to worry about either ^^

Personality, intelligence, and honesty play big roles for me regardless of gender. I guess boundaries would have to be established esp. before a transition. "No, I don't want to be touched there. This causes dysphoria..etc." I would honor whatever he/they would say.

For me it would depend on where they are when it comes to their transition...

Post-op would be the best as there wouldn't be any issues for either of us in regard to boundaries. You can't see chromosomes and neo-vaginas aren't much different than actual vaginas, so rejecting trans women for that reason to me seems a bit transphobic, as cis women can be XY as well.

Pre-op honestly is more in the 'unsure' area. My answer would probably be no if she's not dysphoric and wants to use her bits because I'm not comfortable with that at all. It could work if she plans on getting SRS in the future and we just stay celibate until then or we do things not involving her genitals, but sexual compatibility may be difficult as I am a stone lesbian that likes giving and not really receiving.

However, for similar reasons I will also never date or sleep with any cis women who are into strap-ons and sex toys as anything phallic is not allowed in my bedroom whatsoever.

I am into masculine gays and I am somewhere in between submissive and the middle range. So don't think they're not out there!

I would love to, but most of them are attracted to women only, unfortunately

I saw a very attractive transgender guy on Youtube but he lives in Spain

All the trans guys I met are straight, too. I seem to be the only one in the neighborhood :/

I'm not sure how I would react in the sex life. I don't consider myself being obsessed with penises, anal sex scares me a lot and I don't mind the size of it either. The penis is not so important to me

HOWEVER the idea of having my partner's seed inside of me is fulfilling in a way... So I don't know... maybe I would focus on the romantic part of the relationship instead of the sex if I dated a transgendered guy

    ---------- Post added 29th Jan 2015 at 09:12 PM ----------

I left a comment on his videos saying how gorgeous he was and I asked him if he was into guys, he said he was only attracted to women :rolle:

But I'm "a little transgender" myself
