Funniest or Weirdest Ways You Have Almost/Have Come Out!

That has to be one of the best ways to come out that I've heard

I was getting something out of the back of a closet. My sister walked by as I crawled out again and we bumped into each other. She said, "Sorry, I thought you were so deep in the closet, I could just sweep by you."
Baffled by what she said, I waited a few seconds before quietly answering, "yes," only to realise she didn't get it at all. To be fair, the "in the closet" term is not as common in my native language as in English.

 

I brought my friends to IHOP and figured if I'm going to tell them, we are getting pancakes and endless coffee and btw I REALLY LIKE GIRLS.

One of them already knew , but it was still funny that I came out to her there at IHOP. My only wish is that I could have ordered rainbow mix pancakes...

 

I just snorted very loudly! That is hilarious.

 

Its even better that they're true. XD

 

The funniest way I almost came out was my friends were playing a game that I personally hate, it was f***, marry kill. They only say boys for it, they asked me to play, I'm gay so after they listed off the boys I said "tell them all to f*** off", I had planned on adding because I'm gay, but they just laughed, i also said girls instead of guys when it was my turn to list, I listed my celebrity crushes, jenn colella, Ellen, and Kate Clinton, they just said they had to be guys, I don't think they picked up they were all gay.

 

Another funny way I almost came out was, a guy in my schools said and i quote" will you go out with me", my response almost immediately was "hell no", he fooled by saying, "why are you gay or something". After that I wanted to just say, hell yes I'm gay. I really wish I had, but some of my closest friends are religious. I'm not into religion what so ever so I choose to take my own approach, my friends think I act like some hippie, if only they knew who I really was

 

Made me laugh

 

When I was 13 I tried telling my friends through facebook, they weren't very supportive lol, only one of them. Anyhow my mom approached me afterwards (she read through my messages, but i didn't know that back then) and went crazy telling me it was just a phase, I told her it was so she would calm down, which pretty much ruined my confidence. Proceeded to delete facebook and not talk to any of those friends until very recently, they haven't asked about me being gay so I doubt they even remember.

Nothing special but its all i got.

 

I almost let it slip today while I was trying to help my mother with technology. She needed to get into her email to sent me a link to a page for me to print out for her.

I was sitting next to her, showing her how to do it so she knew for next time. As I was typing in her login credentials for her email, I began typing my information for this site. I proceeded to type out the word "both" before I caught myself. She saw it and asked what I was doing. I played it off as a brain fart.

Not really almost coming out per se, but I can only imagine what would've happened if I typed out the whole thing.

 

Just did it again. My family plays this kind of mean game where if we see someone who we find unattractive or a bit strange, we'll point them out to one another and say "that's your boyfriend/girlfriend."

My mom found someone strange and said "that's [my cousin]'s boyfriend". I wasn't even paying attention and said "Nah, I'm good." She stopped, looked at me, and said "Are you [cousin]?" I said, no, and blamed it on not listening/being tired (and I'm not even tired). She kind of gave me a weird look, but didn't say anything

 

Lol I wouldnt be surprised if she will find out this week with the way things are going

 

Hahaha! She just might. That would be way too early for her to find out.

 

Lol maybe just prepare your bags of excuses in your pocket, just in case
