LGBT News Fox news and gender neutral bathrooms

Pleasantly surprised.

I never had a good impression about fox news before, so I thought they were doing something idiotic again. And I was right! But this time that gets them the result they deserved!

 

Well now I have something else to criticize Fox News about!

 

Another example of the mockery that the news has become. I don't trust any mainstream news program to actually report real news (this is not real news). I trust independent websites such as Vice, or other independent websites.

 

It's really a rather bad idea to watch that station, you know...

 

Oh, dear, well at least they seem to want to know more about it.

But oh dear, BOTH genders? Hun there is not just TWO genders. There are two, hold one, actually THREE sexes and almost an infinite amount of gender identities.

I'm sorry I was just laughing at how ridiculous and how many mistakes have been made but aye, classic Fox News right?

 

Even my fundamentalist homophobic employer has some gender neutral bathrooms.

 

Haha wow. Not even their fans can see what the problem is there. Why would anyone be so frakking stupid that they run a segment mocking bathrooms for trans/non binary people. Fox news is a joke, it's not even real news.

 

I don't think that we have gender neutral bathrooms at work, but given even a single trans* person that was uncomfortable, I'm fairly certain we'd make them (exactly how given our existing facilities is another question entirely, but we'll cross that bridge when we come to it I guess....)

And no, the sign isn't confusing at all. Anyone of any gender identity is welcome to use that restroom. End of story, as the "Fox fans" so astutely point out.

 

Actually, to me all gender and family restrooms are 2 different things.

All gender, means everyone.
Family implies people that need to assist their small children with the restroom.

I think it is just silly that we have gendered restrooms, it is just so inefficient. Family restrooms make sense als, as they are typically just single rooms. If you have a couple of small children with you it is a lot easier corral them in a small single room, than in a larger restroom.

But why "gendered" why not "sexed" That is how I see all bathrooms as, besides the family bathrooms of course, any sex or gender can enter those. I have yet to see a gender neutral one though. Maybe it is just the place I live doesn't recognize gender as a totally separate idea than sex.

 

It's barely even news, because 95% of the time they are talking about their opinions. This was pretty funny though, because they just could not respond to their fans' understanding of gender neutral bathrooms.
