I guess Carol and Susan from Friends. They're pretty much the only lesbian couple from a show I watch. I guess also Ruby and Sapphire from Steven Universe. I kind of watch it sometimes.

Ah, i wanna change my answer. Root and Shaw from Person of Interest is at the moment definitely my favorite couple. I just now watched the series and i've only seen 3 seasons but i'm loving them already.

There are some many (which is cool) i'd have to say Root and Shaw, Carmilla and Laura (awesome web serie BTW) and my ultimate favourite : Clarke and Lexa.

 

I wonder why there's so many lesbian couples on tv compared to gay (male) couples? It sucks because gay male characters on tv are always neutered. They hardly ever get to kiss another guy, let alone have sex with another guy.

I would like to now add Naomi and Emily from Skins gen2 to my list. I'm not sure which I like more. Naomily are more relatable 1. because their relationship is just more normal 2. because they're british and about the same age as me 3. because you see all their awkward closeted phases. So I really love them for that. But Alex and Piper are just such a hot fantasy they are compelling to watch for whole other reasons.

Tbh I have seen much more gay male characters on TV in my lifetime. I only remember 2 lesbian couples on TV when I was in my childhood and early teens and one scary looking lesbian show when I was innocent and aout 11 and too scared to watch it (and it was on too late) like... grittier L word. Those two were Sonia and her gf from EastEnders when I was about 7 and Naomi and Emily on Skins when I was about 11/12 (but that was also on at 10 oclock when my bedtime was 8 so I never even knew about it). So basically I saw one lesbian couple play out over 16 years. Meanwhile, I saw at least 5 gay romances on normal television in that time. Recently, it seems to have become a big thing in American TV shows to have lesbians in it. I love it! However... I have to find those on the internet- none of them are aired in the UK except perhaps US-dominated channels on Sky, I dunno. Sonia has another gf on EastEnders I suppose...

I had to have a proper think about this to even come up with a list, it shows how little representation there is on T.V, especially when quite a few of the pairings above aren't even in relationships and it's more a case of me feeling like they should be :lol: Clarke and Lexa are definitely my favourite though, Lexa is my all time favourite character out of everything and the fact that Clarke is bisexual, it just makes it even more great to see as there's even less bi-rep around.

 

That's why I gave up cable TV years ago. I'm tired of bad content and high pay. It's absolutely not worth it. As soon as I found an alternative at yourmoneygeek.com immediately switched to streaming. Now I choose what to watch and don't get bad content. In addition, I started paying half as much and saved a lot of money. This was probably the best decision I've made in the last few years. This is an ideal option for true connoisseurs of good content

 

3. Ruby and Sapphire from Steven Universe - I remember losing my absolute mind when I first saw these two, and seeing them on a children's TV show? God, my heart.
2. Eve and Villanelle from Killing Eve - Definitely not a happy/healthy couple at all!!! However, every time they're on screen together, I'm on the edge of my seat. And seeing them get along and talk is so so satisfying. Who knows, I might just be crushing on Villanelle's actress too much haha.
1. Waverly and Nicole from Wynonna Earp - Ugh I'd die for both of them. They're so cute. I know the show itself has some terrible dialogue and nonsensical plot lines sometimes, but it doesn't even matter when they're on screen all cuddly and sweet with each other.

My absolute favorite is Waverly Earp and Nichole Haught- WayHaught. They are from Wynnona Earp and are amazing. They just make me smile and tingle and me and my best friend are obsessed
