Hey so a lot of my friends know I'm bi and its pretty easy to explain away. Now I'm pretty sure I'm pan and so many of my friends don't even know what that means. Some don't even know what LGBT stands for, just that it means your "gay" What can I do to easily tell them?

Why not educate them? Explain the acronym. Perhaps make a song which includes the terms? Just a suggestion.

    L - lesbian
    G - gay
    B - bisexual
    T - transexual
    Q - queer

For pan, how about: I can like people of whatever gender (or none) they consider themselves.

The "can" is important because otherwise people think you mean "I crush on everyone", which is of course ridiculous but they (some) already think that of bi, so whattya gonna do? Maybe say "date" instead of "like".

I think this could be improved on, but it's getting to where it's short enough to actually say.

Alternatively, you can also ask them if they have any doubts about it, and start by answering their questions, if you feel up to it.
