I completely agree with this! Although from time to time some of my dreams have indicators of my waking desires, others have been quite the opposite. I've had dreams of incest on more than 1 occasion that have made me wake up in complete disgust! So, the very same can easily be said of dreams of enjoying sex with the opposite sex.

You are perfectly normal. You can't control your unconcious mind when you dream. I dream about men, I even get turned on by straight romance books. It means absolutely nothing. If we believed everthing we dreamed, I would have been put into a washer, filled with acid, and washed until my skin fell off. I believe that the male sex dreams are simply a matter of all the straight socialization we grow up in.

Don't worry about it, you are still a Lesbian!

I have sex dreams about guys a lot. At first I thought I might be forming an attraction to men. But then I realized that they only happen when it's "been awhile". I think it's about being kinky for me. The same way a straight woman might fantasize about a lesbian encounter when she's feeling wild. She will probably never actually do it, but it can be hot to think about doing something completely out of character.
I've really examined it while awake, even tried to fantasize. Men just don't do it for me.
I know it can be somewhat disturbing when you are trying to define your sense of self, but really examine the way they make you feel (even if it's uncomfortable) and if you still feel like a lesbian, just enjoy it. It's like watching porn that you didn't pick out. It may be goofy, or you might not find all of the actors attractive, but that doesn't mean you can't get some pleasure from it.

Some figures in dreams might be parts of ourselves...
So seeing male or female figures just might give hints that the own masculinity/femininity wants to be honoured...
this does not have to be in a sexual way, maybe getting more creative etc...

Some dreams are a replay of something seen during the day...
