    Hmm...

Marry Bernie, he seems pretty chill in the right ways and passionate about the right things
Boink Hilary, she seems a bit fake, but would probably be a good time
    Kill Trump, no... just, no.

    Wait, what? XD;;;;

Holy damn, the trio from hell...

    1. As much as I hate to say it... Trump (though Rubio would be my choice for GOP candidate)
    2. Hillary... Only because....
    3. Bernie is an economical nightmare though I appreciate him stepping away from the common political crowd. I'm an individualist and the increase of government oriented collectivist entitlement policies just don't float my boat.

I'm not American but I could never vote for a Republican. I've been watching the GOP debates and these people have some really crazy things to say. There's so much sniping, rudeness and disregard for so many important things in their ideals (gun violence, climate change, etc.)

Personally, I would back whoever the Democratic nominee is. I don't really have a preference between Bernie or Hillary; I agree more with the former's economic and social policy but I'm more convinced of Clinton's ability to lead the most powerful country in the world, particularly in relation to foreign policy.

I know I'm British, but I pretty much agree with this.

    1. Clinton, just because I don't think she would ruin the economy and she doesn't come as blatantly stupid and Trump
    2. Trump. I really, really hate him but I think Sanders would do more lasting damage
    3. Sanders. I agree with him on a lot of social issues, and I appreciate that he talks about climate change but his economic ideas are unfeasible.

Probably, yes. It's confusing though because his economic policies work fine in other countries so I'm unsure as to why they wouldn't work in the US. Is it just another case of American exceptionalism? It's like any attempt to improve their country is thwarted by some sort of misguided belief that countries like Sweden are socialist.

Bernie Sanders. He seems like the most reasonable candidate out there. And for everyone who calls him too left wing: consider that, in most of Western Europe, he would be center-left at most. Compared to the political party I'm a member of, he's very much liberal.

Anyone who would pick Trump from this list cannot be taken seriously.

I think, whilst she is a lot more Conservative than say Obama (although certainly not in Republican territory) she is a strong Presidential candidate.

Whilst I don't think she will be the best thing for America in terms of policy, she is eloquent, intelligent and a good orator. She is kind of the archetypal US President to me, I think that is probably what a lot of people see in her.

As for her gender, it is a bit like Maggie Thatcher. She wasn't massively popular during her time (and people burned effigies of her when she died and did this) BUT she did kind of "break the barrier/ceiling" to remove any doubt that women could reach that position if they wanted to.

I feal that Hillary is really just doing anything to get elected. She will really say anything. Example: Has been strongly against LGBT for years, and now, suddenly she's changed her mind. Also, why is she popular with young people? I just don't get that. I come from one of the most democratic states in the US, but just about everyone here would probably vote to succeed from the US again.

I essentially agree with what you're saying here. Don't get me wrong, I of all people want to be a part of the electorate that elects the first woman president. (Notwithstanding the Electoral College for those of you who are more aware of how Presidents are actually elected.) However, when we do eventually elect the first woman to serve as POTUS, we need to elect her, not because of her womanhood, but because she is the best person for the job.

    As if voting matters.

    It doesn't.

    Presidential "candidates" are SELECTED....

    Since JFK....

All this is, is Kabuki theater to make you THINK your vote counts.

    It hasn't for decades.

State and local? OK....but nationally? LOL....no

    1. Hillary - Hillary's good and she's certainly better than Trump or Cruz or any other of those idiots. (She withstood talking to them for ELEVEN hours, that takes some guts) She's not as liberal as Bernie so more people would probably vote for her.

    2. Bernie - Let's face it. He'd never win if he gets the nomination. He's too liberal for this place in time. Not to mention that the word 'socialist' is thrown around about him and that's practically the kiss of death for more conservative Americans. If he gets the nomination, say hello to your new Republican nutjob of a president.

    3. Trump - He's an asshole. Need I say more?

As an outsider I think that Hillary and Bernie would do fine as the president of the US. Hillary has been in politics for decades so she knows how the system works better than anyone and hopefully she has learned enough from her mistakes to not fuck it up. Bernie appeals to me the most, but given his somewhat socialist ideas, I'd afraid that if he gets voted for president he will face fierce opposition and resentment from the Republican party.

Donald Trump. Great spectacle, but nothing else.
